Louis Jefferson III is the 2006 winner of the New Haven Jazz Festival international poster contest. His painting "Jazz to Life"
was chosen over thirty other entries from around the world. Jefferson has also collaborated with the New Haven Arts Council,
having his work appear in ARTS! Magazine. He has also been featured in, nationally distributed, Paint Magazine. Jefferson has
also been in the New Haven Register, on WTNH, and has designed a concert poster for Wynton Marsalis.
