Young Renaissance
A renaissance is said to be a renewal
or a rebirth. In Italy in the fifteenth and sixteenth century, and
in Harlem in the early twentieth century, artistic renaissances
were created by various writers, musicians and artists. These time
periods displayed mass amounts of talent, and showed the true potential
that artists can reach when enabled to inspire one another.
We at Young Renaissance have been fascinated with the idea of a
musical and artistic renaissance, and are striving to recreate one
within our own community. Young Renaissance is an organization designed
with youth in mind. We take great pleasure in allowing young ones
perform, display their artwork, and learn from those who have already
made a career of what they dream to be in the future.
Young Renaissance at times plans events ideally for adult professionals,
while allowing the young, talented and gifted to take advantage
of the learning experience. Never think that you are too old, or
not talented enough to participate in events held by Young Renaissance,
because by working together, we can all live up to our full potential,
and help in creating, “The Young Renaissance.” |
